Tipping off the evening, UConn easily handled Texas in the Empire Classic Benefiting Wounded Warriors championship game, giving pool wins to over 50% of us. This wasn't really a game at any point, UConn handled Texas and had a 5-10 point lead for most of the night. In the Jacksonville Classic (Coast Bracket), UCF beat Charlotte in an exciting overtime game, giving the top half of the pool more separation from the bottom half. Finally, Missouri State knocked off Abilene Christian in the U.S. Virgin Islands Paradise Jam.
In addition to these championship games, we had 7 other tournaments either tip off today, or move to the semi-finals, These tournaments are the Cayman Islands Classic, Gulf Coast Showcase, Maui Jim Maui Invitational, Rocket Mortgage Fort Myers Tip-Off (Beach Division), SoCal Challenge (Sand & Surf Divisions), and Sunshine Slam (Beach & Ocean Bracket).
